I used this reel for actual fishing, and I took good care of it. The center nut is Shimano left-handed. *Please consider this as a bonus. I took photos that clearly show any scratches as much as possible, so I hope you can use them as a reference. I disassembled and oiled the bearings about once a month. While it's not completely silent (due to the use of light oil), there's no grinding noise. If you use a higher viscosity oil, it should feel fine, but this is just my personal opinion, so please understand.
