These are champagne gold enamel zori (Japanese sandals) from the footwear artisan shop Gion Naito in Kyoto, Marutake. The color is almost exactly as it appears in the photos. Size: 23.4 cm Heel Height: 4.7 cm I wore these about 5 times, seeking the craftsmanship of artisans who carefully made them at a Kyoto exhibition 20 years ago, so that the space between my big and second toes wouldn't hurt. I believe they cost around 100,000 yen. The underside of the thong is a soft, gentle, yellowish-green corduroy-like material that was kind to the top of my foot, and I loved them because they didn't hurt. However, I no longer have opportunities to wear kimono, so I am selling them. I think you will like them if the size fits. Please check the last three photos for stains on the zori and small peeling on the box. The box has aged, and a name sticker is attached. I will erase the name with a pen before shipping. An unopened cream is included. Suitable for furisode (long-sleeved kimono for unmarried women), homongi (formal kimono), komon (casual kimono), and tsumugi (pongee silk kimono).
