This is a truly wonderful komon (small pattern) kimono, but the lining (doura) has aged due to the use of a unique adhesive from its era. We have prepared a clean lining from another komon. It is a used item and has been removed as is. We will ship the kimono with the old lining attached. Please observe the removal process so that it will be easy for you to reattach the new lining. The rest of the kimono appears to be in good condition. Is there any way to save these komon kimonos?
