I purchased this for live performances and have only used it about 10 times, so it's almost like new. There is some slight wear and tear, but I will clean it before listing. I will not replace the heads, only polish the body. The sound is characterized by a very rich resonance unique to a deep shell, and a responsive attack. I think it's suitable for rock music. I personally have been getting more jazz gigs and haven't had a chance to use it, so it's been sitting unused for a long time. I thought it would be happier in the hands of someone who would play it frequently, which is why I'm selling it. I would love for someone who will take good care of it to purchase it.
