While in school, he worked under Narciso Rodriguez as a design assistant directly under Narciso. Later, he worked as a women's wear designer for Ralph Lauren's highest-end line, Purple Label, mainly in charge of tailored items. In 2006, he came to Japan and was fascinated by Japanese traditional culture and street culture, and began to work in Tokyo. In 2007, he launched his own brand, presenting collections in Paris while focusing on Made in Japan. The collections were mainly handled by famous select shops and department stores in major cities around the world, such as Colette in Paris, Browns in London, Club 21, and Isetan in Japan.
