I've only tried it on and then stored it in a drawer. I believe there are no visible stains or damage. The waist has elastic and stretches to a maximum of approximately 45cm when laid flat. It can also be adjusted with a drawstring. Please note that this is a personal assessment, so there may be some errors or oversights. Denim color: White Stains, tears, odors, etc.: None
