Natural rubber is applied and pressed between two layers of cotton fabric, and then heated to create the rubberized fabric, also known as Mackintosh cloth. The coat is sewn from this waterproof fabric, and to prevent rain from entering through the seams, a craftsman hand-applies waterproof tape to the back of every seam, taking great care to complete each coat. <Design> The "DUNKELD" is a best-selling model of the stand-up collar coat. It has a standard yet slightly relaxed form. It comes with a removable wool liner to enhance cold protection.
