I purchased a "pic pets" booster from Canal guitars about 8 years ago. It's probably a treble booster. It's being sold cheaply because one screw is missing. I think the right volume knob controls the tone. The design is cute, so it might be worth it just to display it. There are no issues with its operation. Thank you. Here's the manufacturer's description: It's a high-frequency booster, but the prototype was a bit of a wild horse, and it was too shrill to be usable with a JC-120. I changed the internal circuit in various ways, but when I adjusted it for the JC, it didn't sound good with a Marshall. As a solution, I decided to leave it up to the user (a compromise!). Therefore, as the simplest way to reduce the high frequencies, I incorporated a tone circuit in the final stage. Surprisingly, it was easy to use, and I didn't like how boosters "stick out" in an ensemble. By slightly suppressing the high frequencies, I was able to achieve a more natural booster (even though it was a compromise). These little guys don't have names, so please give them names, their owners. (Due to the design, there may be some crackling noise in the Volume knob when it's on, but this is normal.)
