I bought it as a set with the camera body, but I'm a complete beginner and didn't have the confidence to use it, so I've kept this lens stored away without ever attaching it. It was stored in a home closet, wrapped in cushioning material and placed in a cotton bag. I am not very knowledgeable about cameras, so I cannot answer detailed questions.
