This kimono was given to me over ten years ago, and I was told it was a Kihachijo (yellow silk fabric). There are scattered, dark spots of staining throughout the lining. The outer fabric and the hagari (lining of the skirt) appear to be in good condition. At first glance, it looks like a dark, subdued color, but the base color shimmers and sparkles depending on the light. A Japanese tailor suggested it might be Oshima Tsumugi (a type of silk fabric). Please understand that I don't know the details. I have taken measurements, but they may be inaccurate as I am not a professional. I believe it is approximately a standard M size.
