This is the reference model of the NODE, which made network streamers more accessible and caused a temporary boom. Compared to the cheaper NODE models that were popular for a while, the sound quality is significantly improved. Also, as the manufacturer is known for its excellent app, the operability is outstanding. It can of course be used as a preamplifier, and you can also fix the volume and use it separately with a power amplifier. The sound quality was satisfactory in both usage methods. The second image is the front, and the third image is the top, but the reflections are severe because the film is still attached. The front is fine, but the film on the top is slightly peeling off at the edges, and dust has accumulated, but I think it can be removed if you remove the film. I get the impression that Eversolo products spend a lot of money on promotional articles, but I personally liked that there were fewer articles about this one. I also liked that it was affordable, even though it's called a reference model. I quickly got rid of the DMP-A6, although I can't simply compare it to the Eversolo PLAY I'm currently listing because it's an all-in-one unit. I was satisfied with the ICON and used it for over six months. I do not have a DIRAC license, so please purchase one if you intend to use it.
