This is a refined fukuro obi (formal obi) in a dark brown color with a chrysanthemum pattern. The chrysanthemum pattern has gold thread embroidery in some areas. The part that wraps around the body is plain. The reverse side is plain black. I bought it online, and I believe the design is by Comme des Garçons (or perhaps Comme Ça du Mode?). Obi width: 31cm, Length: 385cm (of which 103cm is plain)
