Used for area trout fishing. This was one of several tackle items I own, and I never placed it directly on the ground. I used a rod stand and performed maintenance after each fishing trip, as well as occasional self-maintenance. I've taken extremely good care of it since I bought it new, so in my subjective opinion, it's in excellent condition with no scratches. The reeling is quite light and smooth, and I don't believe there's any grinding or scratching. The knob has been replaced with a DRIVE silicone knob. If you prefer the original knob, I can switch it back, so please comment when purchasing. If you don't request a change, it will remain as is, and the original knob will not be included. *I have another one for sale. This one has a gunmetal knob cap.
