◎ This is a shikishi (colored paper) with the Chinese zodiac sign. It features a Fushimi doll. It is from the year of the Ox, Heisei 9 (1997). ◎ This shikishi was produced using a technique from Yuzen dyeing. It was entirely hand-printed using many stencils, resulting in a piece with a very deep flavor. I also think it is very valuable. ◎ It was only displayed for about a month in 1997 and has been stored since then. The outer bag shows signs of aging, but the shikishi inside is in very good condition.
