The lead tip is not attached. The included eraser is present, but the wire for removing jammed lead is bent. I can remove it before shipping if you'd like. I tried to peel off the barcode sticker, but it didn't come off cleanly, and it's left a bit unsightly. I checked for other scratches, but didn't see any. If you're concerned, please comment, and I'll check again and add photos. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about condition, as this item has been stored at home.
