I've only worn it once, to a relative's wedding. I've stored it in a paulownia chest for many years, so there are no particularly noticeable stains, but upon close inspection, there seem to be a few scratches on the pearl parts. There are no other areas where the finish is peeling, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. ☆ They are spring-type earrings, and there is cushioning where they touch. ☆ I think they would look great at weddings, entrance ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, and other glamorous events.
