This is a Tankei suzuri (inkstone). Fine carvings of flowers such as plum blossoms are applied to the surface of the stone, making it an antique with high value as a work of art. As it is old, there are stains on the back of the inkstone and the inkstone box. Please check the condition in the images. Inside the inkstone box, something like a non-slip tanned leather is attached. Please consider this if you don't mind a used item.
