Since 1936, this series has been repeatedly tested in the field and is highly regarded and loved by many anglers around the world. Most of the world records have been set with this Senator series. All models are protected by double metal cover side plates and are equipped with gears and drag systems that will never break. It combines robustness and high power, and is suitable for trolling, bottom fishing, and other big game fishing in all seas. The reinforced large multi-disc drag boasts a wide power train and more reliable operation. The spool has been upgraded with a reinforced stainless steel shaft. The side plate rings are further reinforced from the standard Senator.
