A unique sencha tea set made of Hagi-yaki pottery. The set features the characteristic pink-orange color of Hagi-yaki. Earth-toned glaze is applied to the soft, unglazed areas, creating a unique appearance. The teacups each have a different design, giving them a handmade feel. There is a kiln mark or artist's mark, but the details are unknown. Hagi-yaki is characterized by a cut in the foot of the pieces, but some designs, intentionally without glaze on the entire piece, may not have this cut. This item is one of those.
