While there are no noticeable scratches or stains, as shown in the photos, the original box has tears and damage. I have confirmed the operation using the power cord and four size-D batteries. Both the AM radio and the record player can be listened to, but the sound may not be stable unless you hold down the volume knob. I tried it several times, and sometimes the sound didn't come out of the speakers, especially with records. Please understand that this is a product from over 40 years ago, so I cannot guarantee its operation. When shipping, I will pack it using bubble wrap, wrapping cardboard, and a used cardboard box.
