This is a set of four items: a Hammersley Pansy trio (cup, saucer, and plate) plus an additional plate. There are three sets. While Hammersley's Victorian Violet is the most famous, this Pansy design is also popular, but the number available on the market is very limited. Furthermore, even if available, many cups have "O.O.R.P" written inside. Cups without this marking are even rarer. These are hand-painted items. This cup is a two-tiered cup (as I call it), with a two-tiered design on the sides. Two-tiered cups are less common, so even with patterns other than Pansy, they are more expensive than the standard shape. Usually, the sides of two-tiered cups are simple, but the cup sides and insides are adorned with lovely patterns, and this is only the case with Pansy and Victorian Violet. The design inside this cup is superb, and this shape is suitable for any tea. Coffee is also okay. Of course, you are not a noble, so you are free to use it for whatever you like...
