It's made of a breathable fabric, possibly cotton, and is slightly sheer, making it suitable for summer to autumn wear. I received this as part of a collection from a kimono-loving family member, but I don't have a chance to wear it, so I'm putting it up for sale. I'm not an expert on kimonos, so I can't answer specialized questions.
