Double-sided dyeing of Ise-patterned Edo komon
This is a bolt of fabric dyed on both sides by skilled craftsmen using Tango chirimen white fabric, the length of which is for matching hakke (lining) used for tomesode, iro-tomesode, and homongi.
You can use either side as the front and the other as the hakke.
Outer fabric: 100% silk
Width: Approximately 38cm (approximately 1 shaku)
Length: Approximately 18m (patterned part)
Does not include the label area.
