I purchased this item used, disassembled it, cleaned it, and applied new grease. There are some minor scratches, but I think it's in good condition for its age. The internal parts were also relatively clean. The noticeable scratch is in the fourth picture. The reel spins smoothly, and I don't think there's any scratchiness. However, this is my first time using a Shimano baitcasting reel, so I don't know what's considered normal, but in my subjective opinion, it works fine.
