The fabric is slightly thinner than heavyweight, and the color is lavender (the first and last images are the closest). I only wore it when going out, such as shopping or taking a walk, over a camisole dress to cover my upper arms. There doesn't seem to be any stains or loss of shape, but I washed it normally in the washing machine without using a net, so it feels a little fuzzy. Please understand that there are storage wrinkles as it is now, and that it will be shipped slightly compressed.
