It is said that it is difficult to obtain similar batik items now due to the decrease in artisans and changes in manufacturing methods, and it is unlikely that new ones will be made. Recently, a relative revisited the shop and found that the old batik in stock had been sold in bulk to collectors, and that high-quality, handmade antique items were no longer available there.
