This is an antique French quilt. The size is approximately 220 x 150 cm. It's from around before 1950. In those days, instead of using batting like they do now, they sometimes layered several pieces of fabric and stitched them together like sashiko. This quilt also uses that technique. Although it's old and has some tears, the fabric underneath peeks through, giving it a unique look and charm.
