This is a pair of tweezers for removing kiln shelves, used in glass fusing. They are approximately 26cm long and are designed to safely grip and remove hot kiln shelves. I purchased these from Studio Sagami, and I remember they cost over 1000 yen each at the time. They are well-made and provide a stable grip. They have been stored unused, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor scratches due to long-term storage. Having fired glass for many years myself, I have always chosen good quality tools for removing items from the kiln for safety reasons. I hope someone who needs them will find them useful.
