This is a Martin mouthpiece, size 7, from the same era as the Martin Committee, with the same cursive script. It weighs around 115g, similar to AR Resonance heavy mouthpieces or Monette mouthpieces. (Surprisingly, the Committee, being front-heavy, seems to balance better with a heavier mouthpiece!) As usual, there's a small crack starting on the shank end, but it doesn't affect playability at all. In terms of size, it feels like a Back 6C or smaller, or a 10 1/2C or larger. For all you fellow bop enthusiasts, especially those with a Committee trumpet, get this and become the ultimate swingin' dude! *Trumpet not included.*
