This is a lidded bowl made with genuine lacquer. A pine forest is painted in gold on the lid. Unfortunately, there are many tiny chips in the lacquer around the edges (as shown in image 6), and while they don't affect usability, the condition is not perfect. Please purchase with the intention of using it frequently. The body has 9 small chips, and the lid has 5 small chips. There are no other noticeable cracks or chips. Due to the nature of lacquerware, it's inevitable to miss small imperfections, and while I've checked as carefully as possible, I would appreciate your understanding.
