This bouquet-shaped brooch features three cabochon-cut amethysts in a beautiful, transparent deep purple color, arranged to resemble flowers. When held up to the light and viewed with a loupe, cracks can be seen inside the stones (see photos 10-11). Amethyst has long been known as a healing stone that "calms the heart." It is also said to gently soothe tired feelings and uplift your mood. It is also popular as a "guardian stone of love," enhancing intuition and attracting good relationships and wonderful encounters.
