Genuine smoke shield that was installed on a CBR400F Type 2 Endurance (1985). It was stolen (30 years ago) and found after being modified, so I replaced the cowl and stored the original shield. There are minor scratches, but it has been polished by a professional polisher, so there is no cloudiness that is common in old items. There are marks like cracks on the inside, which are believed to be from when it was stolen. They are not cracks, and you can only see them by changing the angle of the light, but there is no distortion. The edge molding seems to be starting to deteriorate, but it's not very noticeable. The black line around the edge has been restored (black matte spray paint). It can't compare to the beauty of a new one, but it is a genuine original from back then. The price may seem high, but please understand that I paid for the polishing (^_^;) By the way, it is not from a crashed vehicle. This is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection. I would be happy if CBR400F Endurance enthusiasts would purchase it.
