There are minor scratches and subtle dirt from use, but there is no noticeable damage that would hinder its use. It is a relatively clean used item. This is an easy-to-play standard model with the bright and mellow tone characteristic of Pearl Flutes. Purchased as a used item in 2022. I have performed simple cleaning after use, oiling every few months, and spot polishing when tarnish appeared. The pads are not torn or dirty, and I think it can be used as is for the time being. About two and a half years have passed since I purchased it used, so it may be time to consider a condition check and maintenance. I use it a few times a month.
