my name is... "Tokyo Plastic" (2006) [Profile] A four-piece band formed in 2004, they have been actively performing mainly in Tokyo, Yokohama, and their hometown of Nagano. From the very beginning of their activities, they stood out with their active live performances, exceptional musical skills, and outstanding songwriting sense. In 2005, they released a demo CD/DVD with their friends THE INRUN PUBLICS (Nagano). It quickly sold out through hand sales and sales at select shops. In December of the same year, they gained significant attention by participating in the Disk Union-supervised compilation "The Central Point Of... II" alongside NERVOUS LIGHT OF SUNDAY, NITRO MEGA PRAYER, Deracine, ENSLAVE, Kudachikurero, and TIALA. They evoke various elements such as emo, hardcore, chaotic, and punk, but they digest them with a strong originality, creating an overwhelming world view. While playing sorrowful sounds, they also have fleeting melodies that evoke nostalgia and pierce the heart, along with life-sized words sung in Japanese.
