Upon opening it for sale, I found that wax (oil) had seeped out onto the entire crayon wrapper, causing it to become darkly discolored. (Please check the photos.) Regarding the wax seepage and discoloration: This seepage and discoloration is a natural phenomenon that occurs over time due to the wax components in the crayons seeping into the paper cover. According to manufacturer information, this does not affect the quality or drawing performance of the crayons themselves. The components haven't changed; only the surface condition has. Product Condition: All crayons are unused. The wrappers have discoloration due to wax seepage. The box also shows stains and age-related deterioration. Although unused, due to the "wax seepage" mentioned above, the condition is listed as "Slightly damaged or with stains," and the price has been reduced accordingly.
