We use fresh, natural pine needles (with branches) harvested deep in the mountains of Shizuoka Prefecture. We wear sanitary gloves from harvesting to packing, but please wash the pine needles with water before use. After receiving your order, we harvest and sort the pine needles, then place them in a freshness-keeping bag and ship them via Yu-Packet Post.
