For the cartridge slot, the slot is removed from the board, and the terminals inside are individually removed and wiped with anhydrous ethanol. The old plating and rust are removed from the slot, and then the plating is applied. The terminals are carefully inserted into the slot one by one and attached to the board. When leakage occurs, the screen may become dark or roll up and down. Replacing the capacitors will fix this. This happens with all Super Famicoms, so if you are going to buy one, choosing a product with capacitor replacements will make it last longer.
