During that time, I lost the environment to operate SCSI devices, so I haven't been able to confirm its operation. What I have confirmed is: - The power turns on. - The cooling fan on the back spins without any problems (no unusual noises. It was surprisingly quiet). - When a disc is inserted, it loads (makes a sound). - The eject button functions (it was a little slow to respond when first turned on, but it responded afterwards. I ejected the disc about 10 times). Based on the above, I am listing this as a junk item. Please consider purchasing if you understand that it is a junk item. Thank you.
