This is a folding slatted bed base for a baby crib. It has metal fittings on the inside, allowing it to stand up for drying futons. The corners are rounded, and it's made of Japanese cypress (hinoki), so it's safe for babies. I used it for about a year and have been storing it. It's clean with no stains, so I think it's still perfectly usable. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about minor imperfections.
