This tea cotton is characterized by its rustic texture. The patch base is made from an old sake bag. Size: Approximately 20cm x 15cm Outer fabric: Tea cotton Lining: Cotton Peko-chan Jomon-style earthenware patch (securely attached with a sewing machine) The strap uses genuine leather ✦What is tea cotton (chamen or chawata)❓️ It's cotton that already has a natural brown color from the time the cotton boll bursts. The feature is that it doesn't require dyeing, making it an environmentally friendly material. You can enjoy its natural texture. Because it contains tannins, it is resistant to insects and suitable for organic cultivation. It is characterized by its soft feel. Antibacterial, deodorizing, and UV-cut effects have also been confirmed. Cultivated from about 4000 years ago, the original cotton species had brown cotton, but white cotton was bred for ease of dyeing and became the mainstream. It looks similar to a sake bag, but it is soft and has a natural feel. It has been washed, but as it is old cloth, there are some minor stains!
