Yuzen sample fabric dyed in Kyoto from the Taisho to early Showa periods, used by a dyeing shop. The fabric is pure silk. Although it is old, it is in very beautiful condition because it was a sample. The designs are presumed to be the work of highly skilled artisans of the time. Some pieces also feature gold leaf and embroidery. We try to capture the colors as accurately as possible, but please forgive any differences in color from the actual item.
