This is an unused obijime (decorative belt cord) that has been carefully stored in a kimono paulownia chest. It has a refined and gentle atmosphere, with a color reminiscent of the "Toki-shirazu" cherry blossom. There is also embroidery around the beautiful flowers, allowing you to enjoy it in different ways: for visits, you can place the embroidered side forward, and for celebrations, you can place the vibrant gold side forward. I think it will match various obi (belts). It came in a wooden box, but I disposed of the box to store it in the obijime shelf of my kimono chest. Therefore, I will carefully place it in a plastic bag to protect it from water damage and ship it. It is very easy to tie and I believe it will prevent your precious obi from coming undone.
