This is the pottery history of Tsai Hsiao-fang: 1938: Born in Shimizu, Taichung County, Taiwan 1961: Enrolled in the Beitou Ceramic Engineering Training Institute 1963: Graduated from the same training institute Studied ceramics, glaze, and refractories with Minoru Tanaka and Uzaburo Ozawa. 1965: Received glaze instruction from Mr. Etsuzo Kato and Mr. Shigehito Kanaoka at the Nagoya Industrial Testing Institute. 1972: Built a kiln in Beitou. 1984: Exhibition in SELB, Germany. 1994-1997: Held exhibitions at the Maruzen Co., Ltd. Nagoya Sakae store gallery.
