Obijime (decorative belt cord) is cream, or perhaps a yellowish-brown? Yellow? It's not gold. I think it's an easy color to match. I believe it can be used by people of a wide range of ages. Having many small accessories allows for various arrangements. I'm getting fewer opportunities to wear kimono, so I've decided to sell this. I am, after all, an amateur, so please refrain from purchasing if you are particular about details or are not accustomed to recycled items.
