This is a black Nagoya obi to be worn with mourning attire. It has an all-over pattern and is a summer obi made of ro (a type of open-weave silk). It is a light and soft obi. To show the texture of the ro, the obi core has been shifted for the photo (photo 10). This is a used item. There are fold wrinkles due to long-term storage at home.
