It's similar to the open-laced Berkeley. The leather is much softer than current models, and the stitching is delicate, including the swan neck. The leather has tiger stripes on the sides. I've heard that old factory shoes tend to run slightly smaller than current models, so those who wear UK7.5 might find them a bit tight. The seller wears UK7E in the 82 last of Edward Green, which fits perfectly. Those who wear UK7D to 7E might find a better fit. I was able to acquire a very fine pair of shoes, but I don't yet have enough love for them to wear them, so I hope to pass them on to an Edward Green enthusiast.
