【Word/Epic】Released by the label, this is, needless to say, a typical contemporary gospel album from '92. However, it's not the hip-hop-flavored style that was popular in the 90s; its sound is very close to R&B, and from the opening, you'll be captivated by the mood-filled saxophone tones that evoke The O'Jays' classic "Stairway To Heaven." The chorus work in the following song, "Thanks," is reminiscent of a veteran vocal group, and although this is probably their debut work, this impressive quartet possessed both solid skills and a contemporary feeling.
