This is mainly made of colored mizuhiki (paper), but I've also used a lot of glossy mizuhiki to give it a gold, sparkling finish. Perfect for the New Year. Please excuse any slight imperfections. The back is secured with white glue. Since it's paper, it's susceptible to water, but depending on how you use it, it should be usable in the same way as a regular ume knot. How about using it for wrapping, small envelopes (pochibukuro), mizuhiki showers, etc.? Please see my profile.
