This is a water pitcher featuring a four-sided design with cloud and crane motifs, in the style of the Joseon Dynasty's blue and white porcelain. Cranes with outstretched wings, soaring through the clouds, are depicted on the left, right, and back surfaces. Cranes were considered auspicious birds in Korea, symbolizing good fortune and longevity. Furthermore, plum blossoms are arranged on the handle and spout.
