The vibrant "hi-daki" (flame markings) reminiscent of a full moon on a "botamochi" (rice cake covered in sweet bean paste) is impressive, and the coloring is achieved with extremely fine ash. The carefully crafted edging is also a highlight. I believe you can enjoy unique plating using this as an 8-inch plate.
